A glanceable home screen for the car.
Femto Car Launcher replaces the Android home screen with one fixed dashboard sized for automotive viewing distances and touch accuracy: a live map, driving data, weather, calendar and media on a single screen, so the essentials are read at a glance instead of found between apps.

Three device classes
One launcher, wherever Android reaches the dashboard.
No single market is privileged: language, units and locale-specific behaviour adapt per device.
Aftermarket AI boxes
Boxes that inject Android into a factory display through the car's CarPlay or Android Auto input. The launcher starts through the box's own boot-up hook.
Android head units
Aftermarket units running Android, landscape or portrait, at low pixel density and large dp footprints — from the 800×480 floor to 2000×1200 panels.
Car-mounted phones
A smartphone in a dashboard mount. The launcher also runs as a regular app there; making it the home screen stays optional.
Features
Everything the driver needs, nothing that competes for attention.
Each area has its own page with the details, the settings behind it, and what happens when a permission or a data source is missing.
Live map
A full-bleed map that follows the vehicle, with a keyless default provider, an optional Google Maps provider on your own key, and self-healing when the network drops.
Driving data and trips
A high-contrast speed overlay, an on-device track log with GPX export, and a 3D flythrough of the trip you just drove.
Glanceable panels
Weather, calendar, now playing, the clock and a status cluster — floating cards built for viewing distance, each expanding into a full-screen panel.
Apps and voice
A dock on any screen edge, a full-screen app panel with search and pins, and a microphone button that talks to the assistant you already have.
Made for the car — and adjustable
Automotive defaults for legibility and touch accuracy, on any screen shape, with every default left as a user choice rather than a lockout.
Privacy and data
No account, no advertising, no analytics. Calendar and media data never leave the device; location goes only to the map, weather and geocoding services you select.
Screenshot catalog
Every screen size, every setting, side by side.
Every display geometry × display size × light and dark × left- and right-hand drive × dock position, regenerated from the current code on every change.
Get it
Sideload stable, make it home.
Stable is a dated release that only changes when a build is judged ready; nightly is the newest test build, which changes often and may break. Android 13 or later is required.
